According to a new report, two-thirds of India's population suffers from vitamin D deficiency. Some of these people are very deficient in this vitamin due to which a health emergency has arisen in our country. Vitamin D deficiency can cause diseases like depression, diabetes, skin cancer, rheumatoid arthritis. Diseases such as heart disease, and tuberculosis are also caused by vitamin D deficiency. If the level of Vitamin D in the body is too low, it can also lead to serious health issues in the body or can worsen pre-existing diseases in some people. What are the symptoms of Vitamin D deficiency? Some symptoms are known to us automatically in the body and these are external symptoms like body pain, muscle pain, bone pain and body fatigue and hair loss. Some symptoms can only be detected after testing. Those symptoms are a loss of bone density that may not be visible externally but is a nasty problem and can lead to fractures and osteoporosis. This causes osteomalacia in the elderly and rickets in children. Remedies for Vitamin D deficiency There are two ways to deal with vitamin D deficiency. The first remedy involves direct sun exposure. It is very important that you wake up early in the morning every day and sit in the sun for about 15 to 20 minutes. But for some people it is not possible because of their work. In this case, these people can choose another option which is a diet rich in Vitamin D. Including egg yolk, fatty fish, red meat which can help prevent vitamin D deficiency. Vegetables like spinach, bananas, okra, soybean, white beans are good sources of vitamin D.The last option is also to take supplements. But experts advise not to depend on this option. To overcome the deficiency of Vitamin D, supplements should also be taken together. But simply taking supplements will not cure this problem. Be sure to consult a doctor before taking supplements.
