Jammu and Kashmir,Kulgam : In a significant operation, security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam neutralized three terrorists during an encounter. The operation was initiated based on specific intelligence inputs. Security forces engaged in a cordon and search operation in Kulgam’s Redwani area late Monday following credible information about terrorist presence. The encounter ensued during the operation and continued into Tuesday. Identification and retrieval of the terrorists’ bodies are pending. This development follows a recent widening of search operations to Kathua district, initiated after the unfortunate killing of a village defence guard in a brief encounter with terrorists on April 28.
