A 10-year-old boy lost his life in Kottayam, Kudakkachira, while attempting to retrieve a ball that had fallen into a well. The deceased, identified as Liju (10), son of Biju Paul, tragically slipped and fell into the well around 10:30 am on Wednesday.The accident occurred while Liju was playing in the backyard with his sister and other relatives. In an attempt to lift the ball from the well using a basket, he lost his footing and fell in.
He is a class IV student of St. Joseph's LP School, Kudakkachira. The body was shifted to Pala General Hospital for post-mortem.
