This study was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Sangita V Patel, additional professor at Department of Community Medicine of Baroda Medical College, Baroda Medical College. In this study of SSG Hospital, it was said that filtering in RO system separates the cobalt present in the water. However, according to experts, cobalt is an important part of vitamin B12 and it can reduce the effect of vitamin B12. During the study, about 120 people who had signs of Vitamin B12 deficiency were included and 120 people were given Vitamin B12 supplements in normal amounts. In this study it was found that, The risk of vitamin B12 deficiency is more in people who drink regular RO machine water. Similarly, the fear of vitamin B12 deficiency is also high in people who eat vegetarian food or take vegetarian diet . In such a situation, the more you drink RO water, the greater the risk of vitamin B12 deficiency.
