Why H3N2 is spreading Dr. Rajkumar, Senior Consultant, Internal Medicine, Indian Spinal Injury Center says that this time people are getting affected by influenza virus i.e. H3N2. This is also becoming more serious because for the last three years people were using too many masks and H3N2 was not able to enter the body. That's why our body didn't make enough antibodies to fight this virus. He said that now-when people have removed the mask, this virus is entering our body and due to our weak immunity, people are falling prey to this virus. Weak immunity of people or other problems in the body are also making this infection more deadly, due to which it remains in the body of people for a long time. Apart from this, change in temperature and humidity are also becoming the biggest reason for the spread of the virus.
