Should We Eat Roti With Desi Ghee Or Not?

Pure Desi Ghee has been a part of Indian households since time immemorial. Desi ghee is used with food or in cooking. Some people eat desi ghee by applying it to roti as well, but confusion is also seen in some people about eating desi ghee in roti. I got to see this confusion in my own house. Actually, when I asked my mother to apply pure desi ghee in roti, she refused to apply ghee and said that eating roti with desi ghee slows down digestion. Then I talked to the dietician to know the truth about it. The dietician enumerated its many benefits while breaking the illusion of eating roti with desi ghee. Benefits of smearing ghee on roti 1- It is a good food habit to eat fresh roti after applying pure desi ghee. Kavita Rastogi says that eating roti with ghee keeps your stomach full for a long time. Due to which there is no problem of obesity. 2- Desi ghee is a good fat, which helps in balancing blood sugar. Eating roti with desi ghee reduces its glycemic index, which is beneficial for diabetes patients. 3- Eating roti with desi ghee helps in absorbing fat soluble vitamins. Due to which the body gets nutrients easily. 4- By eating hot roti with desi ghee, our food remains healthy. Softness remains in the intestine. 5- By eating roti with desi ghee, our skin also remains healthy and there are no skin related problems.
