Chickpeas are also helpful in keeping the heart away from diseases as it contains zero cholesterol and does not increase your cholesterol or blood pressure. Gram is beneficial for constipation Dietary fiber is found in both types of gram, which is considered very helpful in curing constipation. Consuming fiber-rich things helps in softening the stool, due to which constipation starts to heal slowly.
