The players auction for IPL 2023 has started today in Kochi. In this mini auction, all the franchises will try to improve their team by buying some players. A total of 405 players are participating in the auction. Of these, 273 are Indian players.

Australian all-rounder Daniel Sams was bought by Lucknow Supergiants for his base price of Rs 75 lakhs. Afghanistan's veteran all-rounder Mohammad Nabi remained unsold. South African fast bowler Wayne Parnell also went unsold.
