Meanwhile, 30 out of 50 servers of AIIMS have been scanned by installing anti virus. The server was hacked on 23 November of Delhi AIIMS was hacked at 6.45 am on 23 November. First of all, this thing came to notice in the computer center of the Emergency Lab. After that, gradually the entire computerized system of the hospital was taken over by the hackers through ransomware attack. Since then, efforts are being made to clean the server and free it from the clutches of hackers. On one hand Delhi Police is investigating this hacking and on the other hand, experts of India Computer Emergency Team (CERT-IN) are trying to deal with hackers online. Every year 38 lakh patients get treated in AIIMS. There is a possibility of data theft of patients due to this cyber attack.
