According to the police, the accused father of the girl has been arrested. Soon his uncle and grandfather will also be arrested. Officials say that the girl's family has shifted to Pune a few years back.

A senior police inspector told The Indian Express,
On Wednesday (16 November), in the session of the committee constituted under the Vishakha Guidelines, the girl told the officials about rape and sexual harassment by her uncle, grandfather and father for the last 6 years. After this, the officials immediately went to the police station and registered a case. Investigation was started and the girl's father was arrested. We will also arrest the girl's uncle and grandfather, who are in a village in UP.
According to the report, counseling support is being given to the girl. This matter has been sent to the Women and Child Welfare Department. According to the police, further investigation is going on in this matter.
