Dengue sting in Delhi is not taking its name to stop, this year dengue is already breaking record on record and now a new record has been created. In the last month i.e. October, there have been more than 1200 cases of dengue in the capital, after which the total number of cases has reached near 2000. According to the report released by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, till the 26th of October alone, 1238 cases of dengue had been reported in the capital. According to the report, there are more cases in October than the total dengue cases in Delhi from January to September. It is being speculated from this that the cases of dengue are increasing continuously in Delhi, due to which the situation may worsen. However, the government is in action regarding this and continuous steps are being taken to deal with it.
Record of last 5 years
According to the data, the number of dengue cases from January to October 2017 was more than 3000, after which more than 2000 cases of dengue have been seen in this year i.e. 2022. The government is also strict about this and seeing the situation deteriorating in early October, orders had been given by the government to reserve beds in hospitals.
Dengue larvae found in 1.5 lakh homes
According to the report of Municipal Corporation of Delhi, dengue mosquito larvae have been found from 1,55,312 houses in Delhi. Explain that the larva is a special kind of form. Talking about mosquitoes, the stage before becoming an adult mosquito is called a larva, which looks like an egg but is not an egg.
The risk of other diseases is also increasing
Along with dengue, the risk of other mosquito-borne diseases is also increasing continuously in Delhi. Cases of diseases like Chikungunya and Malaria are also being seen continuously. The government is also continuously issuing notices regarding these diseases, so that the situation can be controlled before it becomes serious.
