In the instructions issued by the state government, it was said that it will no longer be mandatory to follow the rules like crowding or large gatherings and wearing of masks in public places. Similarly, the fine imposed on people spitting in open places will now be levied on the basis of the pre-Covid situation and rules. This means that the amount of fine which was increased during the Corona epidemic will now be reduced.
In a statement issued by The Health and Family Welfare Department of Odisha state, it was said that there has been a steady decline in the number of cases related to Kovid-19 infection in the state in the last several months and keeping this in mind, The Government, after careful consideration, has decided to repeal the Odisha COVID-19 Regulations, 2020, as amended from time to time, with immediate effect.
Appeal to citizens to be careful
