More than 200 MBBS seats increased in NEET UG counseling

NEET UG Counseling 2022. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has increased the number of MBBS seats to 242 in the first round of NEET UG counselling. According to the MCC notification, the colleges could not get the Letter of Permission (LoPs) from the National Medical Commission (NMC) for these seats. The letter of permission for these seats was received on September 17. MBBS candidates can check these seats by visiting the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has decided to include these seats in the first round of UG counselling. These seats have been included in the seat matrix of the first round of counselling. Apart from this, NRI quota seats were not being displayed in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). MCC has also solved this problem. Now candidates will be able to fill their option for NRI quota. According to the official notification of MCC, 15-15 seats have increased in the medical colleges of Doda, Osmanabad, Porbandar, Morbi, Baramulla, Navsari, Anantnag, Kathua and Kannauj. Apart from this, 17 seats have been increased in the Government Medical College, Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. 18 seats have been added in Dr YS Parmar Government Medical College, Himachal Pradesh and 27 seats in Government Medical College, Srinagar. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has a total of 2169 seats for the first round of MBBS counseling. There are 132 seats in AIIMS Delhi, 125 seats each in AIIMS Bhopal, Rishikesh, Raipur, Patna, Nagpur, Kalyani, Jodhpur, Gorakhpur, Deogarh, Bhubaneshwar and Mangalagiri. There are 100 seats each in AIIMS Bathinda, Bilaspur, Guwahati, Bibinagar and Rae Bareli. Apart from this, 62 seats are available in AIIMS Jammu, 50 each in AIIMS Rajkot and Madurai. NEET UG counseling is conducted after the NEET UG exam. This year NEET UG exam was held on July 17 in 13 languages ​​across the country for admission to 91 thousand 415 medical seats, 26 thousand 949 dental seats, 52 thousand 720 AYUSH and 603 veterinary seats. A total of 18 lakh 72 thousand candidates had registered for this exam. Of these, 95 percent of the candidates had gone to give the exam. This exam was conducted in 497 cities across the country and 4 cities outside the country.
