Flood of faith in goverdhan Mathura's Radhakund, Mahasnan started from midnight

The native and foreign devotees who were doing Brajwas in Karthik Niyam Seva took a dip of faith.It is believed that childless couples get children by bathing in the night on Ahoi Ashtami festival. Devotees come from far and wide even after fulfillment of their wishes in faith. Thousands of devotees reached for bath in this pool, symbolizing the Leela of Sri Radha-Krishna. On the occasion of Ahoi Ashtami, devotees bathe in the night and donate lamps. By donating a lamp, he prayed for fulfillment of his wish. Devotees worshiping the couple form of Radhakrishna, seated in water form, donated lamps. The Ghats of Radhakund were visible from Dindan.With a garland in hand and the name of Radha in the mouth, devotees circumambulated the Radhakund Shyam Kund. In the midst of Harinam Sankirtana, a group of devotees were doing a parikrama, singing and dancing with enthusiasm. Devotees were seen immersed in the devotion of Radhe. The festival of Ahoi Ashtami is associated with the happiness of children. In Radhakund, this festival is believed to be associated with the devotion of Radha-Krishna. The fast is done for the long life of the child and the intention of getting a child. Women worshiped Mother Ahoi with rituals with the wish of long life of the child. Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati and their sons were also worshipped. Women observe a Nirjala fast and after seeing the stars in the evening, offer Arghya and break the fast. In Radhakund, thousands of couples came to take a holy bath in Radhakund Ahoi Ashtami in the desire of child happiness. A large number of such devotees also arrived whose wishes had been fulfilled.
