India is making continuous efforts to deal with Corona and now the country has got another new success. The world's first nasal vaccine for Kovid 19 has been approved by the Drugs Controller General of India (DGCI) for use in India. Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that this is the country's first vaccine prepared by Bharat Biotech, which DGCI has also approved for use in emergency situations. According to Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, this will be India's first Kovid 19 vaccine given through the nose. Taking to his official Twitter handle, he expressed happiness and said that this nasal vaccine can be a big step in India's fight against the Kovid 19 pandemic.
What is Nasal Vaccine
The nasal vaccine is a special vaccine given in a special way that does not require any needles. Instead of injecting it into the muscle with the help of a needle, this vaccine is sprayed inside the nose with a special machine or bottle. The method of applying the nasal vaccine is very similar to that of other nasal spray medicines and products. It works to boost the immune system through the inner surface of the vaccine.
Nasal vaccine can be effective
Some experts believe that the nasal vaccine can be very beneficial for airborne diseases like Kovid 19. The nasal vaccine begins its action from the inner surface of the nose, which is where most airborne diseases are first exposed to. In this case, the nasal vaccine may be more beneficial than other intramuscular vaccines.
Features of Nasal Vaccine
The biggest feature of the nasal vaccine is that it can be given without any injection needle. The second is that it first increases the immunity of the inner parts of the nose, which can also reduce the risk of spreading infection in the body.
