Lumpy skin disease is under control in UP, so bad condition happened in Gujarat-Rajasthan.

The serious condition related to lumpy skin disease has raised concern. These affected states also include Rajasthan and Gujarat where the number of animals affected by lumpy skin is very high. At the same time, former Union Minister and MP Maneka Gandhi has also expressed concern over the increasing cases of lumpy skin. Maneka Gandhi, who works for animal rights and health, said that the disease is spreading rapidly due to the release of cows and animals affected by the lumpi virus.
Lumpy skin outbreak increasing in many states The states like Rajasthan, Punjab and Gujarat are badly affected by the spread of the lumpi virus, which has so far infected around 20,57,700 animals across the country. On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh has been successful in preventing the spread of this deadly disease in big states. According to the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, 20,57,700 animals have been infected with this virus so far, while more than 97,000 animals have died. Among the states, Rajasthan is facing the worst with nearly 14 lakh animals infected with the virus so far, of which 64,000 have died. Rajasthan is followed by Punjab, which has 1,73,159 infected animals, of which 17,200 have died and the mortality rate is more than 10 per cent. So far 1,56,236 animals have been infected with this virus in Gujarat, out of which 5,544 have died. Similarly, in Himachal Pradesh, 66,333 animals have succumbed to the disease, out of which 2,993 have died, while in Haryana 1,941 animals out of a total of 97,821 animals have died. The number of infected animals in Jammu and Kashmir is 32,391, out of which 333 have died. Lumpy skin was found under control in Uttar Pradesh Similarly, out of 26,024 animals infected with this virus in Uttar Pradesh, 273 animals have died. Officials said the Uttar Pradesh government's efforts to contain the spread of lumpi disease are showing positive results. Compared to the six largest and most severely affected states, UP has emerged as the most successful state in containing the spread of the lumpi virus. Livestock and Dairy Development Minister Dharampal Singh said, as per the directions of the Chief Minister, we are conducting a routine evaluation by setting up Team 9, Team 9 was formed during the outbreak of COVID. We have launched a significant treatment and vaccination effort. We have managed to keep the virus under control. In the western part of the state, 26 districts are affected by lumpi disease. As a result of the prompt and effective action against the virus by the Yogi government, the mortality rate is just 1 per cent while 64 per cent of the infected animals have been cured. To protect the animals from this disease, the government is conducting regular vaccinations.
