Nine forms of Maa Durga are worshiped during Navratri. However, pregnant women should take special precautions while fasting during this period. Actually pregnant women need the right nutrition for the good growth and development of the baby going on in their stomach. Along with this, these women are advised to consume foods rich in fiber and dairy products along with staying hydrated. 1-Drink Water In Fast Keep yourself hydrated and drink plenty of fluids like coconut water, plain water, smoothies, buttermilk and lemonade. Explain that constipation is a common problem during pregnancy. In the case of fiber rich foods, you should include salad made from fruits and vegetables like cucumber, tomato, carrot etc. 3-Eat Wholegrain In Fast Whole grains are a type of complex carbs, which work to keep you energized throughout the day.
