Dengue-Dengue cases increased with rains in Punjab, dengue mosquito larvae found at 333 places in Patiala

Due to the accumulation of rain water, the outbreak of mosquitoes has increased a lot in Patiala city of Punjab. On Friday, the administration confirmed the presence of dengue-causing mosquito larvae at 333 places in the city. However, this larva was immediately eradicated by spraying it. According to the information received, a campaign named 'Fry Day Dry Day' is being run by the Health Department, under which efforts are being made to prevent mosquito-borne diseases. Under this campaign, works like testing of rain water accumulated in the city, identification of mosquito larvae and spraying of medicines were done on Friday.
People were warned to avoid mosquitoes According to the information given by the health department, dengue mosquito larvae have been found at 333 places in the city. Let us inform that due to continuous rain for 2-3 days in Patiala and surrounding areas, rain water has accumulated at many places. According to officials, due to the rains, mosquitoes are getting a favorable environment for the risk of dengue breeding, which has also increased the risk of increasing the number of mosquitoes. This can greatly increase the risk of mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria, dengue and chikungunya.People have been alerted by the Health Department officials and orders have been given to prevent accumulation of rain water around them and to check the stagnant water.
