There are many students living in Durgapur who live in hostels away from their homes. While living in the hostel, they have become addicted to many types of intoxicants like cigarettes and alcohol. Alcohol and other intoxicants are much more expensive than condoms. They can easily take condoms out of their pocket money and do not even need a doctor's prescription to take it. That's why students are intoxicating with flavorer condoms.Flavored condom is being used as an intoxicant, it was disclosed by a student only. In fact, the demand for condoms had increased more in Durgapur City Center, Vidhan Nagar, Benachity, and Muchipara, C Zone, A Zone Durgapur area of West Bengal. When sales started increasing, a shopkeeper asked the student about it. When the shopkeeper asked his regular customer why he carried condoms every day, he said that he buys condoms daily to get drunk.  Flavored condom works like alcohol These students, who have come under the grip of strange addiction, have raised a lot of questions. Talking to India Today, Nurul Haque, teacher of chemistry at Durgapur RE College Model School, told that if the condom is soaked in water for a long time, its flavor comes in the water. If someone drinks it, he is intoxicated. This is because the flavor of flavored condoms contains aromatic compounds. When soaked in water, the organic molecules of the flavor break down into the alcohol compound and act like alcohol. It is very dangerous to be intoxicated with condoms According to chemistry teacher Noorul Haque, intoxication with flavored condoms can contain toxic compounds that can cause cancer. Therefore its intoxication should be avoided. Right now the youth are feeling good to get intoxicated with it, but in the future there can be serious side effects too.
