Initially, the police was treating it as a suicide. But then a suicide note was found from the woman's clothes. After this, a case was registered under the sections of abetment to suicide and rape.
The victim woman lived in Jaitpur area of Delhi. The woman was married and also has two daughters, but for 9 years the woman was living separately from her husband. The woman had sent her two daughters to the hostel to study and was currently living in a live-in herself. The police came to know about the suicide of this woman on July 5. The woman had committed suicide by hanging herself from the fan. Then during the investigation, the police got a suicide note from the woman's clothes.
In the suicide note, the woman had written the tragedy of the last 8 years. A man from Madhepura, Bihar was held responsible for the suicide. The accused works as a software engineer in a Noida company.
The woman has written that during the last 8 years she got pregnant 14 times but each time she was forced to abort. In her suicide note, the woman has written that she is keeping evidence against the accused in her mobile. The police have sealed the mobile and after investigation has registered an FIR. At present the accused is away from the custody of the police.
