Due to the hectic lifestyle, people's health as well as fertility is getting affected badly. Be it women or men, getting a fertility test done is considered very important for everyone. Although there are no symptoms of infertility, but still it is important that you get tests related to it and find out the causes of infertility. Any man must undergo a fertility test if he has a medical history related to the problem of infertility.
Health experts say that those who are facing testicular damage, erectile dysfunction, they should definitely undergo a fertility test. Along with this, if a person is undergoing treatment for cancer or has undergone urinary tract surgery, then they must also undergo a fertility test.
In an interview, Dr. Ritu Hinduja, Fertility Consultant at Nova IVF Fertility, Mumbai, has told about some tests to detect fertility in men. Let us know what are those tests-

Semen Analysis- Semen analysis confirms the sperm health and development potential of men. The test of semen is measured in three main ways, which include sperm count, sperm size and sperm movement.
Genetic Testing - If the number of sperm in semen analysis is very less, then it means that you are facing the problem of infertility due to genetic reasons. For this test, a sample of your sperm is taken.
Hormone Levels Blood Test - Hormones are very important chemicals in our body that control sperm production. Apart from this, hormones also affect the desire and ability to have sex. Due to the high or low levels of hormones, there may be a problem in sperm production and sex. Two types of hormones are considered important for reproduction, which are Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Testosterone. In such a situation, to detect infertility, doctors find out the number of these two hormones through a blood test.
