Today's time most people sit in front of the computer screen for a long time, due to which many physical problems start to occur. According to a study published in the British Medical Journal , people who sit for more than 9.5 hours a day have an increased risk of death. Posture related problems become quite common in people who sit in the same position for a long time during work or studies. One study found that men who spent more than 23 hours per week watching television had a 64 percent greater risk of dying from cardiovascular disease than men who only watched television for 11 hours. Experts say people who sit more have a 147 percent higher risk of suffering from a heart attack or stroke. 3. Diabetes Risk-People who spend more time sitting also have a 112 percent increased risk of diabetes. When part of this clot breaks off, it can cut off the flow of blood to other parts of the body such as your lungs, causing a pulmonary embolism. This is a medical emergency that can lead to major complications or even death. Sitting for too long, even on a long road trip, can cause DVT.

The head in the chair should be the headrest (the part that that supports the head). Along with this, there should be comfortable padding in the chair, so that it remains comfortable while sitting.
2. Proper Sitting Position-Sloping shoulders, sloping neck and curved spine. These are all wrong ways to sit at a computer desk. Sitting like this for a long time can cause pain in the body, deterioration of posture, injury to the spinal cord, depression, and metabolism can be slow. To avoid these problems, one should sit with the right posture and pay attention to the height of the desk and chair to sit properly at the computer.
3. Exercise and Stretching -After sitting for some time, there is stiffness in lower back, shoulder, shoulder etc. Therefore, you can do some exercises and stretching even whilesitting at the commuter desk. By doing this you will not feel tired and there will be no stiffness in the muscles.
