Tomato flu is spreading among children in Kerala, know how dangerous

the Tomato Fever is a viral fever or is an after-effect of chikungunya or dengue fever. In Tomato flu, children show rashes, skin irritation, dehydration, and red blisters, which is probably where it got its name ‘tomato flu’ or ‘tomato fever’ from.
What is Tomato Flu-Tomato flu infection is spreading in Kollam district of Kerala. So far, its infection has been found in 80 children. The children who have been infected by it, all of them are below 5 years of age. High alert has been issued in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka after increasing cases of tomato flu in kerala.In this disease, red colored blisters are formed on the body, which look like tomatoes, hence the name tomato flu. Tomato flu is currently spreading among children. In Kerala, only children below the age of 5 are getting infected.
Symptoms of tomato flu- -Extremely high fever -Body aches and pains -Swelling of the joints -Fatigue -Rashes the size of tomatoes on the skin -Irritation in the mouth due to the medication Hands, knees, and buttocks discoloration are standard. -Some patients have also reported that worms have emerged from the blisters formed on their rashes. Tomato Fever Preventive Measures 1-If you see any of these signs in your child’s body, you should take him to a doctor right away. 2-The skin on the face and neck should not be scraped or rubbed. 3-It is essential to get enough rest throughout and after the healing period. 4-Keeping the patient and those around him clean is very important for their health and well-being.
