Consuming contaminated water and junk food has a bad effect on the body. This increases the risk of problems like stomach problems, fever, liver failure in some cases of hepatitis A.
Malaria and Dengue-Due to heavy rains, water gets accumulated in different areas, which stagnates over time. It acts as a breeding ground for mosquitoes. This increases the risk of getting diseases like malaria, dengue, chikungunya. Dengue reduces the blood platelet count in the body, which can prove fatal for for the person.
Apart from this, doors and windows should be closed before dusk, so that mosquitoes can be prevented from entering the house. Also, do not allow water to accumulate in the plants or near the house.
