Glacier is melting, water crisis for people .

Almost everyone now knows that glaciers are melting due to global warming in the world. In the high Andean mountains of Bolivia, where snow remains frozen, they have now become a matter of concern for scientists and mountaineers, because the glacier of Bolivia is melting. Scientists have found that it's not just coastal regions of the world that are at risk from melting ice .
According to Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA) and the French Research Institute for Development, this glacier is melting rapidly. About 1.5 thick layer of it melts every year.
The movement of tourists remains on the glacier. Concerned scientists say that due to the increasing activities on the glacier, the glacier will melt more rapidly.Scientists say that glaciers in the Cordillera Real began to melt at the end of the Little Ice Age in the 17th century. But global warming has accelerated the melting process. The Charquini Glacier has already lost three-fourths of its original mass.Global warming is really disturbing, but as long as we have our mountains, I would like people to come here and enjoy them, says resident 'Cholita' and famous mountaineer Ivette Gonzales. The 'Cholita' can be recognized by the helmet on her head and the skirt with colorful girdles.
Bernardo Guaracchi, 69, has been living in the mountains since the age of 18. He says that 'this glacier has melted a lot. This is surprising. Not only Charquini, but the condition of all the mountains is same. I don't like seeing mountains like this. Half of it has already melted.

In 2016, Indiana put Donald Trump on the doorstep of the GOP presidential nomination. But eight years later, the state he called “Importantville” delivered his campaign some flashing red warning signs as Nikki Haley cleaned up in the suburbs. By virtue of its late-in-the-nominating-calendar primary, the Hoosier state has always occupied a unique and occasionally powerful perch to make or break candidacies: Sen. Ted Cruz and then-Ohio Gov. John Kasich dropped out immediately after Trump’s victory that year. But the barn-red state also often acts as a pace car for Republicans nationally. And in a primary that saw a record-breaking $98 million splash across the state, according to AdImpact, Tuesday was no exception. A zombie Haley candidacy continued to punch above its weight in the Trumpiest of states: The former South Carolina governor is on track to break 20 percent for the first time since she dropped out of the race two months ago. Outside of the presidential race, it was the p...
